Five people were killed after a tourist bus returning from Niagara Falls crashed on the Western New York highway.

Witnesses saw the vehicle lose control and turn about 40 miles (64 km) from Niagara Falls, a major tourist destination at the US Canada border.

Most of the 52 people are on board from India, China and the Philippines. Some were thrown by the vehicle and others trapped in the remains for several hours, police said. Most did not carry the seat belts.

The reason for the crash is unknown and the authorities called on the drivers with staff from Dashmam to get out.

The ambulances and medical helicopters were sent to the site of the crash, near the town of Pembrok, 30 miles (48 km) east of the town of Buffalo.

Translators and translation devices were imported to the scene and hospitals to assist in the investigation.

Andre Ray Major, the commander of the country’s troops in New York, told a press conference: “The cause of the collision is still being investigated. However, mechanical damage, as well as the violation of the operator, were disconnected at that time.

“The operator is cooperative and the investigation is still underway. No accusations have been filed at the moment.”

The bus headed east and lost control, rising in the median and then in a ditch, according to police.

Passengers were between one and 74. Several children were on board during the crash, police say.

Twenty -four elderly patients have been admitted to one local hospital, and doctors say they are expected to recover completely. Other hospitals in the area have also received patients, and those who have survived under 16 have been taken to a children’s hospital.

A witness said The Buffalo News That he saw a bus lying on the side and objects scattered on the road after the crash.

“There was glass all the way and the people of the people all the way,” said Powell Stevens, who walked past the crash.

“All the windows were broken. They all looked conscious and well, but I saw the scene in just about 15 seconds.”

Connectlife, an organization that provides blood to hospitals in the region, appears an appeal for blood donations.

“Our community is facing a crisis,” said spokesman Sarah Dina.

“This is one of those moments when your action can directly save lives,” Dina said.

The Red Cross opened the Family Association Center to connect children and parents who have been transported to various hospitals.
