Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted associate of sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein, told us to our employees that the highly discussed “client list” did not exist, according to a transcript of her interview.
In an interview with July with Deputy General Prosecutor Todd Blanche Maxwell said he was “not familiar with blackmail” and did not witness inappropriate behavior of President Donald Trump or former President Bill Clinton.
She also discussed the relationship with her and Epstein with Prince Andrew and called out allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a minor girl in her home, “crazy is not possible.”
Maxwell is looking for a pardon from Trump and is accused of lies by federal officials.
The interview was conducted as the Trump administration was undergoing pressure to disclose more information about Epstein – with whom Trump was previously friendly, according to the president, they fell into 2004.
Shortly after the interview with Blanche – who had previously worked as a personal lawyer of Trump – Maxwell was moved from her Florida prison to another low -security prison in Texas. It is not clear why the move was made.
The White House is adamant that “is not given or discussed with condescension” in the case of Maxwell.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence in a sex trafficking scheme and filed a petition to the US Supreme Court to annul her sentence. Her lawyer said she would “meet” the president.
The pressure is also increasing from Trump’s own Republican Party for more transparency around Epstein’s investigations. But the president accused his political opponents of using the case to distract from what he saw as victories of his administration.
In the transcripts – which amount to 300 pages, some highly edited – Maxwell said that although she believes Trump and Epstein were friendly “in social conditions, she did not think they were close friends.
“In fact, I have never seen the president in any kind of massage,” she said, hinting at the massage services, which some victims said were used to include them in Epstein’s crimes. “The president was never inappropriate with anyone.”
“At the times I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects,” she added.
She also said she did not remember that Trump sent a note for Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003, which attracted recent titles after the note was reported to the Wall Street Journal.
In the interview, Blanche also asked Maxwell about the alleged “client list” of high -profile personalities who have become the object of conspiracy theories in recent years.
Maxwell was asked about several other famous figures, including Bill Gates, Elon Musk, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Minister of Health and Human Services Robert F Kennedy, Jr., actor Kevin Spacey, model Naomi Campbell and Prince Andrew.
The list of his senior associates has become a focal point for conspiracy theorists, who insisted that he was hidden from the “deep state” to protect prominent participants in Epstein’s crimes.
Several figures in the Trump administration – including FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino – they have repeated these claims in the past, although they have given way since then.
“No list,” Maxwell said.
She also talks about Prince Andrew, whose relationship with Epstein led to a fall, where he withdrew from the royal duties.
She called it “flat false” that it was the one who presented the Duke of York in Epstein.
“First of all, let’s just say I didn’t introduce him to Prince Andrew,” she said.
She spoke about Epstein’s relationship with both Price Andrew and the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson.
Maxwell also talks about Prince Andrew’s alleged relationship with a woman whose name is edited in the transcript.
She says she finds the allegations against the Duke of York “stunningly not possible”, partly because of the size of her house, where the events are said to have taken place.
She was asked for a “famous photo” by Prince Andrew and the unnamed woman, with Maxwell in the background. She tells Blanche that this photo is fake.
The prince was accused by Virginia Jufre, who was not referred to in the transcript of sexually abusing her when she was 17 years old. He denied the allegations, but reached a financial agreement with it in 2022, which did not contain recognition of responsibility or apology.
A widespread photo shows it along with Jufre with Maxwell in the background. Andrew previously challenged his authenticity.
Jufre took his own life earlier this year. Her family condemned the Ministry of Justice for an interview with Maxwell and said it was a “monster” whose testimony cannot be trusted.
According to Maxwell, she first made friends with Epstein in 1991 and subsequently developed sexual relations with him.
Even after this connection is over, she said she was still paid by Epstein – up to $ 250,000 ($ 184,782) a year until 2009 – and remains “friends with benefits”. She added that their relationship was “almost non -existent” between 2010 and his death.
Maxwell was asked for her thoughts about the death of Epstein, who died of suicide at the New York prisoner in 2019 while waiting for a trial of sexual traffic charges.
“I don’t believe he died of suicide, no,” she noted, though she added that she “has no reason to” believe that he was killed in an attempt to silence him.
“It’s ridiculous,” she told the theories that he had been killed. “Incidentally, I think if that’s what they wanted, they would have had many opportunities when he was not in prison.”
“And if they were worried about blackmail or something, it would be a very easy target,” she added.
Prior to the release of the transcript, the pressure was on Trump – including many supporters and votes in his own political party – for more transparency about what investigations in Epstein have revealed.
Earlier this year, reports emerged that Trump had said from US prosecutor Pam Bondi that his name was appearing in the files.
He has never been accused of any misconduct regarding the case – and on the trail of the campaign last year said he would publish more information about the case.
But he turned his position for several months to his administration, saying the case was closed and criticized by supporters and journalists who continued to press him against him.
The Associated Press announced that the Chamber’s Supervision Committee received the first round of files – for which they were summoned for – by the Ministry of Justice.
“The Committee intends to make these records publicly after a thorough examination to ensure that identifying any victims and sexual abuse materials have been edited,” said a spokesman for the chairman of the Supervision Commission, James Commer, who says from US media.
“The Committee will also consult a DOJ to ensure that all published documents do not negatively affect current criminal cases and investigations.”
