GitHub CEO to step down

Github CEO Tomas Dohm Declaration Monday that he is resigning from his role. Dohm will be in Microsoft’s owned company until the end of the year, then he will become “Founder again”, he writes in one Blog postThe

Axios reported Microsoft will not replace the direct location and the Github leadership will now report several Microsoft Executives.

“Github has never been stronger than today with more than 1B repo and fork and one and a half million developers,” wrote to Dohum. “We have seen more open source projects with more contributions every year. The AI projects have just doubled in the last year. And our presence in any size organization does not match relatively in the market.”

This step comes as a growing competition from companies like Githab Google And Cursor Over AI Equipment for Programmers.
