AI-powered coding equipment has become so popular over the past few months that almost every major technology company is either using or making its own. The manufacturers of these so-called “Vibe-Coding” tools are a hot product at the moment, including startups Loving And Cursor Customers and investors are eager to tap a heating trend.
Google has now become the latest to hap on this bandwag: the company is examining a sibling-coding equipment WingGoogle labs are available for users in the United States through Labs, which the company uses as a base for testing with new technology.
Opal lets you create a mini web app using text promotes or you can remix existing applications available in a gallery. All users have to do in the details of the app they want to do and the equipment will then use different Google models to do this.
When the application is ready, you can navigate to an editorial panel to view the visual workflow of input, output and generation steps. You can click on every workflow step to view the prompt that indicates the process and edit it if you need it. You can also add manually steps from Opal tools.
Opal allows users to publish their new app on the web and share the link to test with others using their own Google accounts.
Google Study Already let developers make applications using prompts, but Opal’s Visual Workflow indicates that the company probably wants to target a more broad audience.
By joining a long list of competitors including the company Canva, FigAnd replica, which is creating tools to encourage non-technical people to create prototypes of applications without any coding.
