Google loses appeal over app store overhaul in Epic Games case

Google lost the application of a judge’s court order so that the Tech Giant was needed to rebuild his App Store in an incredible case filed by Fortnet Manufacturer Games, Reuters Report on Thursday.

The Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeal has rejected Google’s argument that the trial judge made legal error in disbelief that was unjustly in favor of epic games.

Epic Games first filed his case in 2021 and in 2021, Google was able to convince a jury that illegally suppressed competition. The trial judge ordered Google last October Opening its App Store to rivals and downloading apps to give Android users more preferences. The order was pending for Google’s appeal results.

The Google Appellate argued that its Play Store competes with Apple’s App Store and claims that the trial judge unfairly prevented the argument against Epic’s disbelief.
