Ronnie Rondall’s career has extended for over 50 years and included dozens of television and movie loans

Ronnie Rondel, Jr. – who was known for igniting the front cover of the iconic desire of Pink Floyd You Bean here – died at the age of 88.

The Hollywood stuntman and actor died on August 12 at a Missouri care home in the United States, according to an online obituary.

Rondel has been involved in the production of a number of films and television shows during his long career, including deadly weapons, wire and Louise and Star Trek: first contact.

He survived his wife Mary and his son, also called Ronald.

Rondel was born in California in 1937 and received his first acting role as a teenager in the early 1950s in the movie MA and PA Kettle at the fair.

His first stuntman role is for the soldiers of the Fortune television series, held from 1955 to 1957.

Between the 60s and the 1990s, he worked on several American television series, including Charlie’s angels, a dynasty and a beyond, as well as movies such as Spartacus, the diamonds are forever and the kid.

One of his most famous cascades was bouncing from a pillar that ignited as he moved – a feat he filled for the adventure movie “The Kings of the Sun” from 1963.

He also starred in the 1965 movie scenes, Shenandoa, which was staged during the US Civil War, a Bar of Western Comedy of 1974. A flaming saddle and impressive fiery scenes in the rising Inferno, which was released the same year.

Later in his career, he worked as a stunt coordinator for films, including Batman and Robin, and The Mighty Ducks.

Rondell JR suffered minor burns during a photo shoot for the front cover of the 1975 Pink Floyd album.

Although many may not recognize Rondel’s name, they will probably see him light on the cover of the 1975 Pink Floyd album. Wish You Were here while shaking your colleague, Danny Rogers.

During the shooting, the wind changed the direction and blown up the fire in his face, causing him to lose her eyebrow and some of his mustaches with a signature.

Rondell launched its own stunt company, Stunts Unlimited in California in 1970.

He retired in 2001 but won his final stuntman for the matrix, recharged in 2003 – participated in a complex scene for cars.

Rondell received an honor of the lifelong achievements of the Taurus World Stunt Awards in 2004.

He was not the only performer in the family. His father Ronald R Rondel was an actor and assistant director – known for his work on films, including the 1956 adaptation of Jules Verne’s novel around the world for 80 days.

Both Rondall’s sons also worked in the industry, one of whom, Reed, died while performing a helicopter stunt for the Airwolf television series in 1985.
