Hongkongers Squawk-Off in the first bird calling contest in the city

The Hong Kong Bird Monitoring Society hosted its first bird call competition on Saturdays in order to encourage conservation awareness.

He saw bird fanatics dress and go on stage to mimic rhythmic calls of Koel, Asian fenced Owlet, brown wing and more.

The greatest award went to Bob Chan because of his impression of an Eurasian tree sparrow. More than 580 species of bird species have been registered in Hong Kong.
