Instagram is introducing teen accounts with new safety features in India

Instagram said on Tuesday that the platform was introducing its adolescent account feature, which has additional protective measures to protect users in India, is one of its largest markets, including over 350 million users.

Meta says it is also using the methods of recording video selfies for ID verification and user age verification, as adolescents often have about their age on different platforms.
