Instagram partners with schools to prioritize reports of online bullying and student safety

Instagram on Tuesday Declaration A new school partnership program is aimed at conducting moderation reports submitted by verified school accounts.

The program is currently available for all middle and high schools in the United States to allow schools to post or report students’ accounts that can violate the application directly to Instagram. These reports are then automatically given priority for review and alert schools to take steps.

The agency says that the goal is to help academics to report the problems of potential teenage protection, including more direct bullying.

The participating schools will feature a “school partner” banner on their profiles, which indicate their involvement in the program. Additionally, Instagram will provide educational resources with educational, parents, parents and students safely to use the app to use the app.
