Israel’s Prime Minister said his decision to resolve a “minimal” amount of food in gas after a blockade followed by allies in the US Senate.

“We should not reach a situation of hunger, both practical and diplomatic terms,” said Benjamin Netanyahu in a video in response to the criticism of this move in Israel.

He said food supplies would only continue until the Israeli military and US companies have set up centers to distribute help on US -backed plan that the UN has rejected.

Netanyahu also declares that the Israeli forces will “take control of all regions” of Gaza as part of the enlarged offensive against Hamas, which the Israeli military began on Sunday.

In the meantime, Israeli air strikes killed at least 20 people from all over the territory on Monday, according to the first responders and hospitals.

The Israeli military said more than 160 goals have achieved more than 160 goals last day.

He also ordered the evacuation of the southern city of Han Einnis and its eastern suburbs, warning residents that it would start there an “unprecedented attack”.

Israel stopped all the supplies of humanitarian aid and commercial supplies to Gaza on March 2 and resumed its military offensive two weeks later, ending the fire with Hamas.

It says the steps aim to put pressure on the armed group to release the hostages still in the gas.

It is reported that the resumed Israeli bombing and ground operation killed over 3,000 people and displaced 400,000 others, and the UN says the blockade has caused a major lack of food, medicines and fuel.

Last week, the Ministry of Health, run by Hamas, announced that 57 children had died of the effects of malnutrition in the last 11 weeks, and assessment by the phase phase of the integrated food security phase (IPC) warned that half a million people were starving.

The UN said Israel was obliged by international law to guarantee food and medical supplies to the population of Gaza. But Israeli officials have repeatedly stated that there is no shortage of help, since during the termination of the fire, they entered the gas and accused Hamas of theft of supplies.

But after the pressure from his allies increased, the Israeli prime minister announced on Sunday night on Sunday night that “would allow a major amount of food to the population to make sure that no hunger crisis develops in the Gaza Strip.”

The key members of the cabinet strongly opposed the course. Among them were the far right minister of national security Itar Ben-Gvir, who called him a “serious mistake” that “would” nourish Hamas and give him oxygen as our hostages were in tunnels. “

In a video posted on social media on Monday, Benjamin Netanyahu defended himself from criticism.

“Since the beginning of the war, we said that in order to achieve victory – to defeat Hamas and to release all our hostages, two missions that are intertwined – there is one necessary condition: we must not reach a situation of hunger, both practical and diplomatically,” he said.

The prime minister said he had blocked the supplies of help through the UN and other humanitarian organizations due to a robbery from Hamas and that he is now pursuing a “different method” involving US companies that are distributing hubs secured by Israel’s defense (IDF).

However, he warned that the “red line” and “our best friends in the world (US) senators, which I know as passionate supporters of Israel,” expressed concern for the occurrence of hunger, is now approaching.

“They come to me and say this:” We give you all the support to achieve victory … But there is one thing we cannot accept. We can’t handle hunger images. “

“So, in order to win a victory, we must somehow solve this problem. Until we identify these points of distribution and until we build a sterile zone under the control of IDF for the spread of food and medicines, we must provide a minimum, main bridge – enough to prevent hunger,” he added.

Israeli army radio reports that nine trucks carrying humanitarian aid, including baby food, will go to Gaza on Monday, but there was no immediate confirmation from when, the Israeli military body that controls the crossings.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCA), meanwhile, said it was “approached with the Israeli authorities to resume the limited provision of assistance and we are in discussion with them now how this will be held on site.”

The UN and other assistance agencies insist that they will not cooperate with Israel-platform’s plan to distribute help, saying that it is contrary to the basic humanitarian principles.

Netanyahu also said that Israeli forces are engaged in “massive battles” in gas and make progress.

“We will take control of all areas of the tape. We will do it,” he said.

He said that the “main goal” of the enlarged offensive is to beat Hamas and that this will lead to the release of the other 58, to 23 of which are thought to be alive.

While negotiators for Israel and Hamas remain in Qatar, both sides say there was no breakthrough in a new circle of indirect conversations about a transaction to end the fire and hostage.

Israel launched a military campaign in Gaza in response to Hamas’s cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were hostage.

At least 53 475 people have been killed in Gaza ever since, including 3,340 of the renewal of the Israeli offensive, according to the health ministry in the territory.
