Watch: The Palestinian Red Crescent said this video was found by phone at a paramedist who was killed

Israeli army admitted that his soldiers had made mistakes Killing 15 emergency workers In Southern Gaza on March 23 – but he says some of them were linked to Hamas.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) convoy, a UN car, and a fire truck from Gaza’s civil protection fought near Rafa.

Initially, Israel claimed that the troops were opening fire because the convoy approached “suspicious” in the dark without headlights or flashing lights. The movement of vehicles was not previously coordinated or agreement with the army.

Melters from mobile phones, shot by one of the paramedics who were killed, showed that vehicles had lights while responding to a call to help wounded people.

The video, originally shared by The New York Times, shows that vehicles are downloaded along the way when, without warning, the shooting begins just before dawn.

The footage lasts for more than five minutes, with the paramedic, called the Radvan Refate, hears his last prayers before hearing the voices of Israeli soldiers approaching the vehicles.

On Saturday night, there were official journalists from Israel (IDF), saying that the soldiers had fired at a car containing three Hamas members.

When the ambulances reacted and approached the area, the air monitor monitors informed soldiers on the basis of the convoy, “heating suspiciously.”

When the ambulances stopped at Hamas’s car, the soldiers suggested that they were under threat and opened fire, although there was no evidence that one of the emergency team was armed.

Israel has admitted that its higher account, which claims that vehicles are approaching without lights, were inaccurate, attributing the report of the participating troops.

Video footage shows that the vehicles were clearly marked and the paramedics wore a reflecting Hi-Vis uniform.

The soldiers buried the bodies of the 15 dead workers in the sand to protect them from wild animals, the official said, claiming that vehicles were moved and buried the next day to clear the road.

They were not discovered a week after the incident, as international agencies, including the UN, could not organize a safe passage into the area or find the place.

When a help team found the bodies, they also found the Refat Radwan mobile phone containing footage of the incident.

IDF insists that at least six of the medicines were linked to Hamas – but so far they have not provided evidence. He admits that they were unarmed when the soldiers opened fire.

A military official denied that one of the medics was handcuffed before he died and stated that they had not been executed at close range, as some reports thought.

Earlier this week, The surviving paramedic told the BBC that the ambulances turned their lights on And they denied that his colleagues were connected to any belligerent group.

IDF promised the “in -depth examination” of the incident, saying it would “understand the sequence of events and the processing of the situation”.

The red crescent and many other international organizations call for an independent investigation.
