Israel’s Defense Minister told his military to prepare a plan to “allow every Gaza resident who wants to leave it”, in accordance with President Donald Trump’s proposal to the United States to take over the territory and displace their 2.1 million Palestinians elsewhere.

Israel Katz said that Gazanas should have a “freedom of movement and migration” and the countries critical of Israel’s war with Hamas are “obliged” to take them.

In the meantime, Trump said Gaza would be “betrayed” to the United States from Israel “at the end of the battles.”

But the Palestinian Presidency repeated the rejection of the plan, which he said he would violate international law and insist that “Palestine … is not for sale.”

The Israeli military launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 were taken hostage.

More than 47,550 people have been killed, and since then, 111,600 have been injured in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.

The greater part of the gas population has also been replaced repeatedly and almost 70% of its buildings are estimated to be destroyed or damaged.

Health, water, sanitary and hygiene systems have collapsed and there is a shortage of food, fuel, medicines and shelter.

Israeli Defense Minister wrote on X on Thursday that he welcomed the “bold initiative” of the US President, saying that this could “support the long -term efforts to recover in demilitarized, without threatening Gaza after Hamas.”

Katz has announced that he has instructed the Israeli military to “prepare a plan that will allow every Gaza resident who wants to leave this to any country wishing to receive them.”

“The plan will include options for exit through land crossings, as well as special arrangements for departure by sea and air,” he said.

“Countries such as Spain, Ireland, Norway and others who have falsely accused Israel for his actions in Gaza are legally obliged to allow Gazani to enter their territory. Their hypocrisy will be exposed if they refuse.”

He claims that Hamas prevents people from leaving Gaza and said they should have a “right to freedom of movement and migration”.

Hamas Naim’s official Bazam has accused Katz of trying to cover up a “state that failed to achieve any of its goals in the war against Gaza” and said the Palestinians would refuse to leave.

Meanwhile, spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency claims that “Palestine with its land, history and holy sites is not sold.”

The Abu Rudineh also said that the Palestinians “would not give up a centimeter of their land,” whether in the gas or the occupied West coast.

“The Palestinian people and their leadership will not allow the recurrence of the catastrophe of 1948 and 1967 and will thwart any plan aimed at eliminating their fair cause through investment projects whose place is neither in Palestine nor in its land.”

“Nakba” from 1948, which means “crash” in Arabic, saw hundreds of thousands of Palestinians flee or expelled from their homes before and during the war that followed the creation of the State of Israel.

Many of these refugees found themselves in Gaza, where they and their descendants make up three -quarters of the population. Another 900,000 registered refugees live on the west coast, which Israel occupied during the Middle East war in 1967 with Gaza, while 3.4 million others live in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, according to the UN.

Israel unilaterally withdrew his troops and settlers from Gaza in 2005, although he maintained control over his shared border, airspace and coastline, giving him effective control over the movement of people and goods. The UN is still examining a gas for Israel -occupied territory because of the level of control that Israel has.

On Wednesday, the King of Jordan expressed his “rejection of any attempt to annex the land or displace the Palestinians in the Gaza and the West Coast”, while the Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of the reconstruction “without the Palestinians leaving the Gaza Strip”.

Hamas – which is prescribed as a terrorist organization by Israel, USA, the United Kingdom and other countries – said the Trump plan is “absurd” and “will” put only oil on the fire “in the region.

The UN Human Rights Service has warned that any violent transfer to or deporting people from occupied territory is strictly prohibited under international law.

The UN Secretary -General also said it was “essential to avoid any form of ethnic cleansing” and emphasized that gas would be an integral part of a future Palestinian state.

Antonio Guteres said at a meeting in New York that the world “saw a freezing, systematic dehumanization and demonization of an entire nation.”

Watch: Trump says we “can” take it “gas and restore it

Trump has revealed his plan for the United States to take on Gaza Long -term Property and monitor his reconstruction during a visit to the White House by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.

The president said that most of the Palestinians living in Gaza will have to be moved to achieve their vision to create the Riviera of the Middle East and that they will be accommodated in Jordan, Egypt and other countries.

“I hope we can do something where they would not want to go back,” he said, sounding more remarks in the oval office, where he talks about migrating people “constantly”.

At the White House briefing on Wednesday, spokesman Caroline Levit was asked to confirm whether all Palestinians who wanted to stay in Gaza would be allowed to do so.

“I can confirm that the president is committed to restoring Gaza and temporarily moving those who are there because … this is a place to destroy,” she replied, appearing to be contrary to the president.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio also said that the idea was to leave the territory for a “temporary” period while the debris had been cleared and a reconstruction was carried out.

On Thursday, Trump wrote on his social platform for the truth that Gaza would “be handed over to the United States from Israel at the end of battles.”

The cessation of the fire between Israel and Hamas stopped the war and aims to lead to a constant end of the fighting.

“The Palestinians … They would already be resettled into far more favorable and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes in the region. They will actually have a chance to be happy, safe and free,” he added.

The president also said that US soldiers would not be needed to maintain stability.

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, Israel’s Prime Minister called Trump’s proposal “remarkable” and something that should be “researched, persecuted and done”.

Netanyahu also suggested that the gas would be able to return, saying, “They can leave, then they can return, they can move and return, but you have to restore gas.”
