The negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Qatar for a new transaction to terminate the fire and the hostage of the Gaza and the deal for the release of hostages have stopped after three days of indirect negotiations, Palestinian official told the BBC.

The official stated that key adhesive points include how help would be distributed during the withdrawal of the army and Israeli troops.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the United States and hopes for a deal to be collected as he had an unplanned second meeting with President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

The US Special Envoy Steve Vikof also said that they are now a “unresolved question of negotiations in Doha and that he hopes for an agreement for a 60-day termination of fire by the end of this week.

The choreography of the meetings between Trump and Netanyahu gave the impression that the inertia for a transaction to end the fire in the gas is increasing.

In a statement published on Wednesday morning, the Israeli prime minister said their last meeting was “focused on efforts to release our hostages.”

“We are not inferior, even for a moment, and this is possible because of the military pressure from our heroic soldiers.”

He added: “We are determined to achieve all our goals: the release of all our hostages – the living and the deceased, and the removal of the military and the ruling capabilities of Hamas, thus ensuring that Gaza will never be a threat to Israel again.”

Israel says 50 hostages are still in captivity, up to 20 of which are thought to be still alive.

Vitcof said that Israel and Hamas were closing the difference in issues that had previously prevented them from reaching a deal.

“We are in conversations now and we had four questions. We are up to one now,” he told reporters on Tuesday.

“So, we hope that by the end of this week we will have an agreement that will lead us to a 60-day cessation of fire.”

However, it is unclear whether a lot of progress has been made so far during the four rounds of conversations, which are being held in Doha since Sunday.

A Palestinian employee with the negotiating knowledge told the BBC on Wednesday that they remain stagnant.

According to the employee, the impasse is due to the refusal of the Israeli delegation to allow the unlimited entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza through UN agencies and other international organizations.

Israel insisted on maintaining what the employee described as the “current humiliating mechanism” for the distribution of assistance- reference to the US and Israel Gaza Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which uses private security contractors to circumvent the UN.

The source also noted that Israel continues to reject the calls for the withdrawal of its forces from Gaza regions, which he has occupied since March 18 – when Israel resumed his offensive, collapsing the last ceasefire – further complicated the progress in the negotiations.

Qatar – who acts as an intermediary, along with the US and Egypt – also warned that more time to break is needed.

“I don’t think I can give some time line at the moment, but at the moment I can say that we will need time to do so,” the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Ministry of Qatar said on Tuesday.

The conversations intended to provide a way to end the 21-month war, it is a little surprise that they are having difficulty.

But it seems that the Trump administration remains optimistic so far, with Vitcof still having to go to Doha at some point in the coming days.

According to media reports, this proposal will see Hamas to hand over 28 hostages – 10 alive and 18 dead – in stages during the 60 -day termination of fire.

A large number of Palestinians will be released from Israeli prisons in exchange for hostages.

There will also be a jump in the supplies of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Upon the return of the first eight living hostages on the first day of the agreement, the Israeli forces would withdraw from parts from the north. After seven days, they will leave parts from the south.

On the 10th day, Hamas will outline which hostages remain alive and their condition, while Israel will give details of more than 2000 gazan detained during the war.

As these details are thrown into Doha, at least 20 people were killed in the Gaza at night, Israeli strikes in the area of the southern Khan Enisis and at the House at the Al-Shati Refugee Camp, northwest of Gaza, according to the Hamas Civil Protection Agency.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.

The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to an attack led by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were hostage.

Since then, at least 57,575 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.

The greater part of the gas population has also been replaced repeatedly. More than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed; Health, water, sanitary and hygiene systems have collapsed; And there is a shortage of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.
