Joe Biden used his first speech after leaving his post to criticize the Trump administration’s well -being.
The former US president said at a Chicago conference that the government had “taken the Luke” in social security, a system for which Donald Trump and Elon Musk – who lead efforts to reduce the cost of the White House – were obsessed with fraud.

He described social security as a “sacred promise”, adding: “We know how much social security matters to people’s lives.”
Biden – who spoke at an event for the rights of people with disabilities – did not turn to his departure from the White House or the 2024 presidential election during his remarks.
The Social Security Agency (SSA) provides a basic income for people in the United States who are retired or cannot work due to disability. It covers about 67 million Americans, mostly older citizens.
Democratic politicians have repeatedly accused the administration of planning extensive social security cuts.

“He will always defend this program,” she added.
In the X, SSA – which is now controlled by Trump’s appointed – said Biden was “lying” during his speech in Chicago.
