The jurors in the process of Sean “Didi” Grebes will continue to discuss after they reach a partial sentence, but the title of the most serious accusation, faced with the hip-hop tycoon.

At the New York Federal Court, the 12 jurors announced that they had agreed on four of the five points, but failed to decide on the prosecution of a racketeering, which brings a possible prison period in life.

The atmosphere was tense as the rapper was sitting with his head bent, his arms bent in his lap. His lawyers occasionally hug his hands around him. Discussions will be resumed on Wednesday morning.

The 55 -year -old Combs has admitted that he is not guilty of all five charges, including trafficking in sex, racketeering and transport, to join prostitution.

Around 4:30 pm on Tuesday (20:30 GMT), the jury announced that they had reached four of the five points after two days of discussion.

The 12-member committee said they could not reach an agreement on the racketeering charge, since the jurors from both sides have opinions that are stationary.

Judge Arun Submanian heard arguments from both the prosecutor’s office and the rapper’s defense lawyers on how to continue before calling on the jurors to continue to try to make a unanimous decision. Their agreed decisions on the four points were not announced.

The prosecutor’s office urged the judge to use Alan’s charge, which is a set of instructions given to a Hung jury to press his members to make a unanimous decision.

Alan’s accusations are controversial as some believe they can put unnecessary pressure on jurors, forcing them to change their positions or cave of peers – especially when their opinion is in the minority.

The jurors will return on Wednesday and could potentially continue to consider a sentence on July 3 – when the court is usually closed before the 4 July official holiday.

In the last two months, the jurors have been heard by 34 witnesses, including ex-girlfriends, former employees of Mr. Combs, male escorts and federal agents.

The unanimous decision of the jurors on most censuses after less than two days of discussions can be a good sign for prosecutors, before the BBC Robert Minz, a criminal protection lawyer and a former federal prosecutor.

But in order to be sentenced to the prosecution of racketeering, prosecutors had to prove that G -N -Combs set up a criminal enterprise – a coordinated plan between the musician and at least one more person to commit at least two crimes for a period of several years.

“This would always be the most challenging accusation for prosecutors to receive a sentence,” said Mintz.

“This is a very complicated accusation used in the past in the pursuit of organized crime, and it is not surprising that this is the only accusation it gives to the jurors the most difficult.”

The defendant, who also went with the names Puffy, Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Love and Brother Love, is a well -known figure in the music industry.

He used his growth in the industry to find his successful clothing line in Sean John and participated in numerous reality TV shows, including one where the competitors competed to become part of his group.
