Montana Criminal Investigation Department/FacebookPolice have named four people who killed a bar in a bar in the US state of Montana as a maneuvering for an army veteran, suspected of the attack entered their third day.
Barmaid Nancy Loreta Kelly, 64 -year -old, and three customers – Daniel Edwin Baylie, 59, David Allen Leach, 70, and Tony Wayne Palm, 74 – died as a rifle striker in the pub in anaconda on Friday morning.
Police said the suspect, 45-year-old Michael Paul Brown, fled to the nearby foothills afterwards.
Authorities have offered a $ 7500 award ($ 5,650) for any information that will lead to its capture.
“This is an unstable individual who entered and killed four people in cold blood for no reason,” Montana General Austin Knudsen told a press conference on Sunday.
“So there is absolutely concern for the public.”
He added that since then, employees have expanded their search area to include national forest land in front of anaconda, a city with a population of almost 10,000 in southwestern Montana, which is surrounded by a dense, mountain terrain.
“We want to find this person,” said G -n Knudsen. “This is a dangerous individual who has committed an absolutely disgusting crime against this community.”
About 250 law enforcement officers – federal, state and local – help in the search, as well as cars and a helicopter, employees said.
The shooting happened at the owl bar around 10:30 local time on Friday morning, employees said.
Knudsen noted that the suspect was regular in the pub and lived in the neighborhood. He said that “probably he (the suspect) knows the bartender and those patrons, which makes it even more nasty.”
Cassandra Dutra, another bartender, told CNN that the suspect would enter the owl bar often, but “he was not part of companionship” among customers. D -dutra doesn’t work on Friday.
Mrs. Kelly’s daughter, Nancy Kelly, told the NBC News that her mother had been a nurse for about 30 years until she retired recently when she found a part-time job at the bar, as “this keeps her a little social, just seeing people.”
She said that mass shooting was once unthinkable in anaconda.
“We didn’t even lock our cars outside, you know, or the house. I want to say, I wouldn’t say, it’s dangerous here at all,” she said.
Anaconda-deer Lodge County CenterInvestigators do not rule out the possibility of died, but said they were acting on the assumption that he was alive, armed and dangerous.
Mr Brown is a veteran of the US Armed Forces, which has served as an armor crew from 2001-05 and is located in Iraq since 2004-05, a military spokeswoman told US media.
After the shooting organs found a white spicy of the Ford-150, which they said the suspect had used to get out, but there were no signs of him.
On Saturday, the Montana Criminal Investigation Department released an updated image, which they say showed the suspect, running away from the scene.
In the photo, a man is visible without a shirt, barefoot and dressed only with black shorts and goes down the stairs as he leaned against a stone wall.
G -n Knudsen said the photo was taken after the suspect got rid of some personal belongings and his clothes.
He believes that G -n Brown later received other clothes and shoes and was “able to get around.”
The shooting has forced many businesses in the area to exclude. Some have been reopened since then, but numerous public events have been canceled due to removal.
The niece of G -N Brown, Claire Boyle, told the News Agency at the Associated Press that her uncle has been fighting mental illness for years.
“It’s not just a drunken/tall man who was unleashed,” she said in a Facebook message.
“He is a sick person who does not know who is sometimes and often does not know where or when he is or.”
