Today I want to share some details about how we organize our AI efforts to build ourselves for our vision: Personal supervision for everyone.

We will call our common organization Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL). This includes all our foundations, products and honest teams, as well as a new laboratory focused on developing the next generation of our models.

Alexander Wang has joined Meta to serve as our chief employee of AI and a leading MSL. Alex and I have worked together for several years and I consider it the most impressive founder of his generation. He has a clear sense of the historical significance of Superintelligence, and as co -founder and CEO, he embedded Scaleai into a fast -growing company involved in the development of almost all leading models in the industry.

Nat Friedman also joined Meta to partner with Alex to manage MSL by heading our work on AI products and applied research. Nat will work with Connor to determine his role forward. He manages GitHub at Microsoft and has recently runs one of the leading AI investment companies. NAT has served in our Meta Advisory Group for the last year, so it already has a good sense of our roadmap and what we need to do.

I am excited about the progress we have planned for Llama 4.1 and 4.2. At the same time, we will begin to explore our next generation of models to reach the border next year or so. I have spent the last few months to meet the best people in Meta, other AI Labs and promising start-ups to make up the founding group for these small efforts for dense talents. We are still forming this group and we will ask a few AI Org people to join this laboratory as well.

Meta is uniquely positioned to deliver the world’s supervision. We have a strong business that supports the construction of significantly smaller laboratories than the smaller ones.
