Satellite observations showed alternative strips of light -colored and dark colors in the region. By the end of March, diligence excavates a light -colored formation and collects a sample. In the process it invented the strange rock – called “St. Paul’s Bay.”

According to the diligent team, St. Paul’s Bay is a “floating” rock – it is a rock that should not be in this place. However, what made this rock formation on Mars and how it was located in the region is unknown. This rock seems to be composed of a few hundred millimeters with a small, round, gray stone. These small round stones are different: some are oval -shaped, some have sharp edges, and some have small holes in some.

It is possible that these are Speruls are conjunction– Formations made by groundwater are passing through the holes in a rock, which suggests that Mars may contain a lot of liquid water once on the planet. However, these spheres are also made on earth when the molten rock cools quickly, for example after the volcanic explosion. The diligent science team is investigating the source of small round stones made by St. Paul’s Gulf. It is possible that they are obtained from the stripes of a dark dark in the formation of the monitoring rock.
