Several NATO members send troops, artillery and air defense systems to secure their eastern flank then, which Poland called an unprecedented invasion of Russian drones in its airspace.

In the early hours of Wednesday, three Russian drones were removed after passing into Polish airspace.

Other drones crashed to the ground and were later found in Eastern Poland.

Poland has requested a UN Security Council session for the incident, which will be held on Friday at 19:00 GMT.

In response to the invasion of the drone, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, they said they would send defenses to Poland while Lithuania would receive a German brigade and a greater warning about Russian attacks against Ukraine, which could be crossed.

Germany also said it would “strengthen its commitment to the eastern NATO border” and expand and expand the air police over Poland.

Turning to parliament on Thursday, Polish Minister of Defense Vladislav Kosiniac-Pamas listed offers to support Poland partners, saying that the Dutch will deploy air defense, artillery and 300 troops, while the Czechs will send helicopters and 100 troops.

He also said that the French and the British could deploy planes to secure the Eastern NATO flank.

“Poland has repeatedly heard words about solidarity and empty gestures throughout its history,” said Kosiniac-pmashas. “We have specific declarations today.”

Although Russian drones and rockets have joined some NATO member states before, this has been the most serious incident of this kind since Moscow launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The Kremlin said there were no more comments to claim that Russia deliberately sought to accumulate tension in Poland.

Yet many Polish and European leaders believe the invasion was intentional.

“This Russian provocation … is nothing more than an attempt to test our capabilities,” said Poland President Carol Naroki, echoing comments from his German and French counterparts.

However, experts’ opinions are divided whether Moscow intends to launch the drones in Poland.

On Thursday, the best NATO military commander Alelexen Grinkevich admitted that he was still unknown whether the act was deliberate and said that even the exact number of drones that went into the field airspace must be determined.

But before the increasing nervousness on the part of the countries bordering Russia, neither NATO nor Poland, they take any chance.

A map shows an area where an attack with a drone happened overnight. With Poland, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine with a label. The label where the drone was found, Czosnówka, is a village in Eastern Poland, about 40 km (25 miles) from the border with Belarus. There are also labels to show where four airports were temporarily closed in Poland, including two in Warsaw due to the drone.

Warsaw will set restrictions on drones and small air traffic along its eastern borders with Belarus and Ukraine, and Latvia has announced that its eastern airspace will be closed for one week.

Ukraine President Volodimir Zelenski has suggested that Western military representatives provide guidance and training on how to give up Russian air attacks, as Ukrainian defense forces are making almost night.

Zelenski also called on the joint air defense system to act as an air shield over Europe in response to Russia’s “busy” behavior.

Adding to anxiety, felt in some neighborhoods of Eastern Europe, are the main joint military exercises between Belarus and Russia, called Zapad 2025, which should begin on Friday.

Poland said he would close her border with Belarus on Thursday, “for reasons of national security … in connection with maneuvers in the West,” which she calls “very aggressive.”

Previous training in the West were organized several months before the war in Ukraine and about 200,000 troops were included.

This year’s exercise will be less in scale, according to Lithuanian Military Intelligence Chief Mindaugas Masonas and will include a total of up to 30,000 troops.

President Donald Trump’s response to the drone has been muffled so far. “What is it with Russia, violating Poland’s air space with drones? Here we are!” He wrote on social media on Wednesday without being developed.

Polish President Naroki said he and his US colleague had spoken as “a part of a series of consultations” with allies and said the negotiations “confirm our unity”.
