The Palestinians in Gaza say they were fired once again while heading to one of the centers of distribution of aid managed by Israel -backed and US -supported Gaza Foundation on Monday.

Witnesses said they were fired for the first time by Palestinian artillerymen near the GHF site in the Tal Al-Sultan area of Rafa, south. They also said that Israeli troops fired at them.

Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza said six people were killed and 99 were injured by areas designated to collect help.

Israeli military said it was considering reports.

GHF said the Tal Al-Sultan site did not open on Monday and that there were no incidents at two other sites that provided help.

There are days after the Prime Minister of Israel has admitted that it was precisely arming the Palestinian clans in Gaza are against Hamas.

Almost every day since GHF began to distribute help on May 26, there have been deadly incidents near one or the other of the four centers.

Dozens of Palestinians were killed as they approached a site in the area of Tal Al-Sultan on Rafa along a route passing through the Israeli war zone.

In previous incidents, witnesses said the Israeli forces were opening fire on crowds. The Israeli military denied that the troops who fired civilians within the site, but it is said that the troops fired at “suspects” who ignored warning photos and approached them.

In the incident on Monday, the people of the scene said that the Palestinian artillerymen fired at them, as did the Israeli forces.

They said that the artillerymen seem to be allied with the Israeli forces, as they operated close to them and moved back into an Israeli war zone.

A witness told the BBC Arabic program in the Middle East on a daily basis that he saw a group of young men dressed in civilian clothing and with their faces completely covered when he arrived in the area to receive a food box from the GHF website.

“At first, we decided that they might be Palestinian youths who were helping in the process, but suddenly they started shooting at us,” said Hisham Said Salem.

“Even those who were able to receive a box for help were directed and shot. We still don’t know who these attackers were. They took everything from us – some even stole from us during the chaos,” he added.

Another man, Mohammed Sakut, said, “Several young men were shot and killed just behind me. I ran out of death – some bullets only went inches from my head.”

“In the beginning, it was the Israeli army that fired civilians. But today we were shocked to find the presence of bands and militias,” he added.

At Nasser Hospital in the nearby town of Han Enisis, a seriously wounded man treated for a firearm on his neck, Mohammed Cabag told the Associated Press: “A group of armed men who organize us start shooting directly to us.”

“We went to get help. They told us to stand in line. We stood in line and suddenly they started shooting at us. As I stood, I was surprised when the bullet hit me, I got dizzy and fell,” he said.

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) told the BBC that he was considering reports.

GHF said in a statement that on Monday in the Saudi neighborhood of Rafa and wad two sites, in the center of the lane and that “the distribution of the aid of the two sites continued without incidents”.

Asked by the BBC about Tal Al-Sultan’s reports, a GHF spokesman said there was nothing about our sites.

However, a post-group Facebook account is said on Monday afternoon that the Tal Al-Sultan Center is closed due to the “chaos of the crowds”.

The GHF Provisional CEO, John Akra, said he had delivered more than 11 million meals in the last two weeks “without injury or a major incident in our distribution sites.”

The Gaza Health Ministry said hospitals received a total of 127 dead and 1.287 injured people from “areas designated for aid distribution” during the same period.

GHF, which uses American private security contractors, aims to circumvent the UN as a major assistant to help to Palestinians.

The UN and other help groups refuse to cooperate with the new system, saying that it contradicts the humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality and independence.

They also warn that 2.1 million Gaza population faces catastrophic levels of starvation after an almost three -month -old common Israeli blockade, which is partially relieved three weeks ago.

The US and Israel say that the GHF system will prevent the help of being stolen by Hamas, which the group denies.

The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to an attack led by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were hostage.

Since then, at least 54,927 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.
