Passengers evacuate the delta after a fire of the engine at Orlando Airport

Passengers were forced to evacuate Delta after the engine ignited while on the asphalt at Orlando International Airport in Florida.

Video on social media shows smoke and flames rising from the right engine, and passengers coming out of the plane down on inflatable emergency slides.

Delta Flight 1213 is ready to leave Orlando, known as Disneyworld Home, for Atlanta with over 200 people on boardS There are no reports of injuries.

“The passengers were evacuated. The aircraft rescue and fire team responds quickly,” said the airport in a social media publication.

The Airbus A330 wore 200 passengers, 10 flight attendants and two pilots, according to a statement to the US partner of BBC, CBS News.

The airline said crews were evacuating the cabin when flames were seen in part of one of the two main engines of the aircraft.

A video, apparently made by the terminal, shows that passengers waiting on the asphalt with emergency vehicles parked next to the plane.

“We appreciate the cooperation of our customers and apologize for the experience,” Delta said.

“Nothing is more important than safety teams and Delta will work to reach their customers to their final destinations as soon as possible.”

The Federal Aviation Administration said it would investigate the incident.
