Pinterest updates visual search with more AI-powered features

Pinterest is upgrading its visual search feature with a handful of new powers.

Monday, the agency Declaration It is rolling up the new functionality to improve its feature that allows users to search using an image instead of text. These include new tools to be more precisely narrow and modified, as well as make visual inquiries more accessible across the website of Pinterest.

The addition is similar to Google Multimodal Search, which connects the text and images to a single question. However, in this case, Pinterest is helping users by creating words that can be used to increase and narrow their search search. (The agency notes that it is using “industrial-top” multimode embedding models, but which doesn’t specify))

Another update allows users to refine their fashion searches by looking for items displayed in different colors, styles or fabric. For example, Pinterest suggests that you can use it to find a similar style that “Y2K” was over aesthetics or could find something like your favorite blazer but it works better for a formal event.

Pinterest also states that it will extend its visual search to stop visual inquiries by allowing users to give long-likes on any pins in their home feed.
