POC Obex Connect Headset Review: Loud and Clear

Spread the love

I spend most of all My winter weekends are on resorts across the state in Colorado snowboarding. The best part for me is the social aspects – the tea is not hotter than the spread of the chairlift. But if you have ever been skiing or snowboarding you know that communication is sometimes limited, as they are zooming in front of me. (It’s great, it’s just my second season!) If I practice by myself, it was nice to have some entertainment.

I used Bluetooth earned to listen to the podcast and music when I ride and I tested some helmet audio systems, but the word is usually mEH. I’ve never really found something to hear anything in OP. Recently, I had the opportunity to try the POC OBEX Connect Headset, a helmet audio and communication system recently launched with Harman Cardon. The audio quality of this thing has blown my mind and officially turned me into someone who always requires a few soundtracked runs every time on the snowboard.

Go with the flow

The OBEX Connect Headset POC’s OBEX Line can be paid with any helmets, or you can include it with it OBEX Connect Backcontry HelmetThe I tried it with it OBEX MIPSAnd it was easy and intriguing to install. I dragged the ear pads regularly from the helmet and spread the OBEX connections, then the connecting the back of the adjustment dial behind the helmet. The audio ear pads felt as soft, well-cousin and warm as the helmets brought the helmet.

They include just as much place for your ear – I never feel that the pads are pressing against my head. Instead, they cradled my ear. If you have earrings that you don’t get out, you know how important it is!

The OBEX MIPS helmet itself is a tight piece of gear. It has a comfortable, lightweight feeling, with an interior -shaped adjusting dial, compatible overhead vents, a goggle clip, a compatible plastic clip chin strap and the front ventilation above the goggles. As indicated in the name, the helmet contains a multidy -oriented protection system (MIPS), the gold value of the helmet construction that allows your head to transfer relatively to the helmet during the impact and limited rotation force.

Once the system has been installed in my helmet, I downloaded the Poke Connect App (IOS, Android), And via Bluetooth tried to pair my phone with headset. I couldn’t do it directly from the app – I had to go to Bluetooth Settings on my iPhone and choose the headset, but it was visible there and was paid right now. The process was faster and easy, even on the way to a ski resort, there was even a mountain street. After that, I can control my music, call and voice assistant from the helmet.
