The newly elected Pope Leo XIV has led his first liturgy as Pontiff, in the Vatican Sistine Chapel.

The Pope joined the Cardinals for prayers and hymns, in the morning after his identity was revealed to the world of the Vatican Balcony overlooking the Square of St. Peter. Pope

Leo spoke in Latin, English and Italian, urging the church to do more work, where there is a “lack of faith” and asked the Cardinals to “announce the good news, to announce the Gospel.”
