President Yon Suk Youol removed from office

The Constitutional Court of South Korea unanimously voted to maintain the impeachment of President Ion Suk Youol.

There were tears of joy and sadness among the pro-ion and supporters of Anti-ion who had taken the streets before the sentence.

In his first remarks after the sentence, Yon says he “really regrets” that he failed to meet people’s expectations.
