Reddit briefly down for users worldwide

Popular social network and forum site Reddit reported on Monday morning.

Connection error Start around 11:20 AM ET, according to the website downtector, which collects anestical reports from worldwide affected users. At the top, more than 90,000 users have logged an outage report with the downtime tracking website.

11:52 AM ET, Reddit statusBy tracking the company’s website itself, it has confirmed that it is investigating “elevated errors” across the website and app.

A few minutes later, the company said that the matter was identified, and the company implemented a fix within 12:10 PM ET and said it was “the result of observation”. 12:21 pm ET, Reddit status showed that all the systems were turned on again.

Arriving at commenting, a spokesperson at Reddit said, “We were briefly unable to connect to a database, which was caused by the outbreak. A fix was deployed quickly, and we are now moving forward.”

Reddit reported the issue of “elevated error” three times in February, as well as a few weeks ago, according to his status page.
