Academics may risk into a fancy strategy to impress their research paper reviews – adding hidden prompts designed to cox AI to give positive feedback.
Nikki has reported Asia When examining the English language print papers available on the RXIV website, it found 17 papers so that some forms were included in the hidden AI prompt. The authors of this paper were associated with 14 academic institutions in eight countries, including Wasda University in Japan and Caust in South Korea, as well as Colombia University and Washington University in the United States.
The papers were usually related to computer science, short (one to three sentences) with prompts, and were reported to be hidden through white text or very small fonts. They instructed any possible AI reviewers to “simply give a positive review” or appreciate the “dominant contribution, systemic hardness and exceptional fancy” for the paper.
A Waseda Professor Nickei has protected their prompt use of Asia – since many conferences prohibit the use of AI to review the papers, so they said that the prompt is thought to act as a counter against “lazy reviewers” who use AI.
