On Wednesday the Amazon-owned ring announced that it was introducing a new AI-driven feature to its doorbels and cameras, which provided users’ specific text details of the current speed activity.

Now, when users get real-time notifications about the incident on their property, the updates will be more descriptive. For example, “a person is walking with a black dog,” or “two people are looking for a white car parked on the driveway.”

The goal of the feature is to improve the vague notifications available earlier. Now, users will be able to find out exactly what is happening and decide whether it needs immediate attention. It should be noted that AI simply describes the first few seconds of the speed-working video clip.

The feature is being introduced as an English-cable bet for the Ring Home Premium customers in the United States and Canada. Users can choose to disable the feature by going to the settings in the ring app.
