Russia said some Western sanctions must be canceled before seafood begins with Ukraine.

Within hours after the United States announced that the two countries agreed to stop strikes in the Black Sea in separate deals, the Kremlin said this would only take place after sanctions were canceled by a number of Russian banks.

The requirements include the withdrawal of sanctions against the State Agricultural Bank Rosselkhozbank and the restoration of companies’ access to Swift International Payment System.

At night, Moscow has started a drone attack on the port city of Mikolav, Ukrainian officials said, with President Volodimir Zelenski saying that the strikes are “a clear signal” Russia does not want peace.

After the full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, The EU and its allies have stopped access to SWIFT for a number of Russian financial institutions.

The goal was to lose access to normal smooth and immediate transactions provided by SWIFT, violating payments for their valuable energy and agricultural exports.

The cancellation of this decision will need EU approval, a step that will seem uncertain in the light of Latest European support statements for KYIV.

A spokesman for the European Commission said the withdrawal of all Russian forces from Ukraine will be one of the basic conditions for the elimination or modification of any sanctions.

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump said Russia could try to delay the end of war.

“I think Russia wants to see this, but it may be that they are dragging their legs. I have done it over the years,” he said in an interview with Newsmax.

Sea fire was announced by the United States after three days of peace talks in Saudi Arabia.

Later, however, Kiev and Moscow released conflicting statements about the details of the deal, including when and how it would start.

Zelenski said he believes the deal does not require a sanction relief to take effect and will take effect immediately.

He called the Kremlin’s statement an attempt to “manipulate” deals.

After announcing the agreement on Tuesday, Washington said all countries would continue to work for “lasting and lasting peace”, adding that the agreement would reopen an important commercial path.

Ukraine and Russia have also committed themselves to “develop measures” to implement a pre -agreed ban on the attack on energy infrastructure to each other, the White House said.

The Black Sea is located south of Ukraine and west of Russia, and is also bordered from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Georgia.

It is also bordered by parts of Ukraine occupied by Russia – including Crimea.

This is a vital shipping route for Ukrainian exports and after Russia has withdrawn from the Black Sea Grain Initiative in 2023, it said it would consider any ship that is connected to Ukraine as a potential military purpose.

As a result, the export of Ukraine’s grain descended.
