Saved Baby Gorilla Zeitin is recovering from a trial for smuggling

Baby gorilla, rescued last year by an airport delivery container in Istanbul, may soon be returned to his native Nigeria.

Baby – named Zeitin in a public race – takes care of Turkey at the zoo polonezkoy as he undergoes rehab after his test in the hands of smugglers. Zeitin has gained weight and has been higher since it was found in December.

Turkish authorities are looking for Nigeria assurances that Zeitin will not be in danger of illegal traders when he returns to the country.
