FicoA Scottish businessman who disappeared in Kenya was found dead.
Campbell Scott from Fife attended a conference at the JW Marriott Hotel in Nairobi when he was last seen by his colleagues on February 16th.
The 58-year-old was the senior director of the FICO loan assessment company. His employer confirmed to the BBC on Monday that the local police had identified his body.
A spokesman for the company said the employees were “devastated” by the news.
She added: “Campbell was a leader in our international business.
“He joined Fico in 2014 and played an important role in the introduction of the results of the new markets and the growth of our business with existing partnerships. We are sorrowful for its passage and will miss its humor and kindness.
“Our thoughts are with Campbell’s family and friends. We ask the media to respect their privacy.”
GoogleD -Scott studied at Woodmill High School at Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy Technical College, working for a number of companies before joining Fico.
The JW Marriott Hotel is located in the Nairobi area in Westlands, a wealthy business zone.
Police began a search after his disappearance and was assisted by Interpol, according to newspaper reports.
The comment was paid to the United Kingdom’s outside office.
