Slack bolsters search with AI, adds transcriptions and summaries for huddles

As the racing of AI features in productivity applications is intensified, Slack is encouraging search with AI features in its application, adding transplants and summaries for hodles, and ways to see the recovery of channels and threads.

Using AI, Slack now lets you search across the channels (like Google Drive, Salesforce and parties) as well as channels for relevant files and conversation surfaces. This feature will be available in Slack’s Business and Enterprise Plan.

The company is using AI to encourage the company’s voice and video chat features with call transcripts, summaries and the application will highlight the original verb items raised in the calls automatically.

And to help users to capture conversations, Slack will provide briefs of messages on the channel or thread if you are away.

The agency says that it will roll users a way to show their role and recent jobs to get the brief of the profile of another user. There are also plans for a feature in the Action Tab that will surface to action items when you are viewing a message when you are viewing a message.

Slack added that it is acting in a feature that allows you to use AI to explain a message in the context of the conversation given.

For the canvas, an associate panel that allows users to share guides, documents and information, the company has planned to add an AI-driven writing assistant that will help users create a canvas from any conversation or change the formatting of the existing content.

The app is also getting a design change – we are getting united space for all shared files, lists and canvas items.
