SpaceX took out a successful test flight to its latest generation Rocket Starship, relevant to disappointing failures.
The largest and most powerful rocket in the world exploded from Texas shortly after 18:30 local time (00:30 BST) for a 60-minute nail bite flight.
Parts of the engine seemed to explode at one stage, and the valves on the side of the rocket caught fire and rotate from the side.
NASA’s US space agency plans to use Starship to send people to the moon for its Artemis program in 2027.
“Great job from the Spacex team !!”, SPACEX CEO Elon Musk on X, Who spends billions on Starship developing, which everyone launched approximately $ 100 million.
He will meet the success after three starts of Starship ended with a grand failure this year and a rocket It burst into the starting pad in June.
Starship is the biggest and most powerful rocket built so far. It is made up of a booster called Super Heavy and Spacrefft Starship.
The signs were positive since the start of the test flight on Tuesday. All 33 booster engines fired and after about seven minutes the booster separated from the spacecraft and fell into the Gulf of Mexico.
Starship continued to climb, reaching a maximum height of almost 200 km above the ground before returning around the planet.
Spacex said it intends to put the rocket under stress to test its boundaries, and parts of the rocket valves seem to be burned and swing wildly during the descent.
The company has designed a star ship within one day to be a fully usable transport system capable of carrying people to the moon and Mars.
“It was a great day for SpaceX, performing his full mission for the first time and unfolding some satellites of test matches along the route,” says Dr. Simeon Barber, a planetary scientist from the open university.
He adds that SpaceX will collect a full range of take -off, cruise and landing data, which is a big step forward for the company.
The first version of the rocket had five successful launches, but all attempts to launch the largest version ended with spectacular explosions.
In March an explosion grounded flights and cause debris to rain over the Bahamas with pieces landing in the Turks and Kaikos Islands In the Caribbean.
But SpaceX successfully fulfilled the “Chep -Tel” maneuver, which caught the rocket booster in mechanical weapons when I returned to Earth.
And in June, the Starship rocket erupted on the starting pad in Texas when it was preparing for a test flight.

This is also high bets on NASA’s US space agency. He has concluded SpaceX to use a modified version of Starship to take people to the moon as part of his artemis program in 2027, although most observers say that the date is almost sure it will slip.
“This is also a big step forward for NASA’s Artemis program, but there is still a lot of work to develop to prepare this spacecraft and to be appreciated to carry people safely to the moon,” says Dr. Barber.
Mr. Musk wants Starship to be certified for travel with people next year, and also offered to start non-environmental flights to Mars over the next 12 months.
The SpaceX mantra was to fail quickly, to study quickly. Instead of taking a cautious approach, he has always been intended to move fast and when rockets have exploded, the company says it is just a chance to collect efficiency data.
But after three consecutive failures this year, questions were asked about the future of SpaceX and whether it was spent too much time on US policy.
The most rich man in the world was a key adherent of US President Donald Trump in the election campaign in 2024 and until he had fallen in June, the two men were close allies.
Starship returned to the ground, battered and bruised on Tuesday, but it was a big step forward for the company, which should prove that it could safely and reliably take people to the moon.
The success of Tuesday “Returns the program on the way – to get to the moon is another question,” offers Dr. Ken Kremer, a researcher and founder of Space Space Upclose.
He says the United States, reaching the moon in 2027, is “extremely unlikely. I do not want to say that it is impossible, but it is extremely unlikely.”
The United States competes against China to be the first to bring people back to the moon, and some scientists say that even with Starship’s progress, China is likely to win.
