Strong rainfall cause floods in northern India

Strong rainfall caused landslides and lightning floods in northern India.

On Tuesday, over 30 people were killed near a popular Hindu shrine in India -administered Kashmir.

The rains have also battered parts of the United States Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, leaving the roads blocked and property floods.

Rescue operations are underway, with authorities having helicopters and boats to evacuate people stuck in the affected areas.
