Student Bhoms Chauhan missed the Air India crash in just minutes

Bhomi Chauhan remembers he is angry and disappointed. Bumper traffic to the bumper slowed her car trip to Ahmedabad-Dalkova airport that she missed her Air India flight to London Gatwick only 10 minutes.

G -Chauhan, a business administration student who lives in Bristol with her husband, attended Western India for a vacation.

The 28-year-old had to fly home on Ai171 on Thursday, who crashed shortly after taking off, killing 241 people on board and others on the spot.

But after arriving at the airport less than an hour before departure, airline officials rejected it.

“We were very angry with our driver and left the airport in powerlessness,” she recalls. “I was very disappointed.

“We left the airport and stood on a drinking spot and after some time before we left … we talked to the tourist agent how to get a ticket recovery.

“There I received a call that the plane had come down.”

Speaking to the BBC’s Gujarai office, she adds, “It’s a completely miracle for me.”

D -Ja Chauhan says she arrived at the airport at 12:20 local time, 10 minutes after the upload had to start.

Her digital board, viewed by BBC News, shows her appointed to the Seat Class Seat 36G.

But although she has checked online, she says the airline staff would not allow her to complete the airport process.

She had traveled from Anschwar – 201 km (125 miles) south of Ahmedabad – before being detained in the traffic of the center of Ahmedabad.

D -Ja Chauhan says, “When I missed the flight, I was humiliated. The only thing I meant was,” If I had started a little early, I would have got on the plane. “

“I asked for the airline’s employees to let me inside, since I was only 10 minutes (late). I told them I was the last passenger and so, please let me get on the plane, but they didn’t let me.”

Gatwick’s flight took off on a scheduled Thursday afternoon, but seems to be struggling to win altitude and crashed about 30 seconds in the flight.

The aircraft hit a residential area, killing 241 passengers and 12 crew members. It is known for now that at least eight people on earth have been killed.

One passenger, the British national Vishvashkumar Ramesh, survived the crash and was treated at a hospital for injury.

Indian, Portuguese and Canadian citizens were also aboard.

Among the 53 Britons who were killed are a A family that lived in Gloucesterthree members of the same family living in London and a married couple who managed a spiritual wellness center in the capital.

Emergency services and employees worked late on Thursday nights and Friday to clear debris and look for answers.
