RSF has been charged with performing genocide in Darfur – against Nearabian groups in the region

Sudan takes the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing him of supporting the paramilitary forces for the rapid support of Sudan (RSF) in the Civil War.

Khartoum claims that the UAE is a “complicit in the Masalite community” in Western Darfur, through its military, financial and political support for RSF.

In response, the UAE categorically rejected Sudan’s allegations by calling the “cynical stunt cascade” and stated that he would seek immediate dismissal.

After the war began in April 2023, both the RSF and the Sudanese army were accused of making atrocities.

RSF has been charged with genocide in Darfur – against Nearabian groups in the region.

According to the AFP news agency, Sudan’s performance in MS ICJ says: “The United Arab Emirates nourish the rebellion and support the militia that committed the crime of genocide in Western Darfur.

“The United Arab Emirates must make their full restoration of the injury caused (by) its internationally misconduct, including the payment of recovery of war victims.”

An unnamed UAE employee stated that “the allegations presented by a SAF representative in ICJ have no legal or factual basis, representing another attempt to distract this Kalamic War.”

The UN experts, who are watching the arms embargo on Darfur, have previously described allegations of UAE smuggling weapons in RSF via Chad as credible.

ICJ’s advisory opinion is not legal binding, but still carries a significant political burden.

The almost two-year war was devastating Sudan, with tens of thousands and over 12 million eternally, nourishing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

Earlier this week, the heavy firing of a camp for displaced people in North Dafur left dozens of people who were afraid of the dead.

A crowded market in Abu Shuk, a camp on the outskirts of El-Fasher, was attacked for about two hours on Tuesday night, a local employee told the BBC.
