The duck is caught for exceeding road cameras in the city of official in Central Switzerland.

Local police said Mallar – wild duck – was clicked on radar images on April 13, which enters 52 km/h (32 miles/h) in an area of ​​30 km.

Adding to the mystery, the authorities said the duck was probably a repeated criminal and shared an image of such a looking duck traveling at the same place at the same speed and on the same date in 2018.

There is speculation about whether the “notorious competitor” incident with ducks was a delayed joke on the April fool, but the police inspectorate said it was impossible to manipulate the images in the radar system.

Authorities have said that traffic cameras are tested every year by the Federal Institute of Metrology in Switzerland and the photos taken are sealed.

In a Facebook post, Koeniz employees wished the public “lots of fun” to make sense of “curious coincidence” seven years in the creation.

“We wish you a very fun feeling of curious coincidence, criminal animal machinations and the maximum duck flight speed,” the publication said.
