Talk Oscar is “captivating and incredible”

In many ways, the anorial feels like a fairy tale. Except that the character of the movie’s title – Annie of her friends – is a stripper and casual sex worker. And her prince charming is the spoiled son of a Russian oligarch.

When he spontaneously offers and they marry Las Vegas, it seems that all her dreams come true. But she quickly discovers that many people strongly do not approve of the match.

For Mothers Madison, however, this is a dream of a part where she has to show everything – from stationary force to delicate instability.

“From the beginning, I recognized that she was a very complex character, very nuanced,” agrees mothers Madison.

“I always felt that she was a person who is very vulnerable from within. But he constantly conceals him with this firmness or aggression. But I think she is quite soft inside.

“I think she hopes this is her happy so far. I think this is an opportunity and I like that she does not want to let them go. And so she will fight to the end to try to save him. “

Both the film, and more special in Madison, accumulate huge amounts of awards. It started when the movie premiered in Cannes.

“I’ve been working for almost a decade, I have been trying to work well. And it was my end dream to go to Cannes. And we had a movie in the main race, and then we won (the best prize, Palme D” or) crazy in itself. “

She calls “everything that followed” an absolutely wonderful, pleasant surprise. ”

“Especially because I think I went into it, feeling really proud of the movie and doing something special to us. And the fact that the movie is also special to other people is wonderful.

Madison was relatively unknown before the anora. She had small parts in the fifth installment of the Scream Horror franchise and Quentin Tarantino once in Hollywood.

The writer and director of the anora, Sean Baker had seen her on the screen and wrote the part of Annie specifically for her.

“She is so unique. Not only in her physicality, but there is something in her aura,” Baker says. “There is something. She is actually quite muted, even in real life. Her behavior is, she is quite preserved.

“But then suddenly she can explode like no other person I have ever seen, no other actor I have ever seen.

“And I always expected those moments that make the movie, knowing that a scene would require it. Do you know to see that you were not finding anything and then suddenly just a total eruption. It was amazing to watch.”

The controversy in Annie and the shifting genres of the film were elements that Madison says she was hugging greatly during the shoot.

“As an actor, I sometimes felt like I was making a very romantic movie, and sometimes it was almost like a horror movie, or drama, or a comedy for slaps. To navigate my character with all these different genres was fun. It’s fun. That is fun. It’s fun.

The 25-year-old was nominated as the best actress at any major award ceremony, including the Golden Globes, Batfas and the Oscars. And she is probably Demi Moore’s main rival for the best actress of the Academy Awards.

Speaking to her Oscar nomination, she said she felt amazing to be part of the conversation of the awards.

“I know I’m incredibly pleased, revered and humble, that our movie is recognized this way. But I just process it.

“This is impossible and incredible and all things,” she says, giving all kinds to be overcome by the recognition that her performance is collected.

If Mothers Madison has finished a story for several months by winning the best actress at the ceremony next month, she will be one of the youth performers who won this Oscar award, beaten only by a handful of stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Marley Matlin, and Audrey Hepburn.
