Czech police police have finally arrested the Formula One race car driver, which has been spotted on the highway repeatedly since 2019.

The red racing car, a full -lived Ferrari Livrea, was followed in a property in the village of Buk, about 60 km (37 miles) southwest of Prague after the last observation was reported by police.

A video appeared on Sunday morning showing a distinctive car driving on the D4 highway and stopping for gasoline.

The driver – a 51 -year -old man – was arrested in his home and removed after a short time refused to leave the vehicle.

Video footage, shot by local media, showed him sitting in the car in front of his garage, arguing with officers and saying that they were breaking private property.

He eventually gave way and agreed to be taken to a police station for questioning – he still wears the clothing and helmet of the Red Race driver.

According to subsequent media reports, he refused to answer any questions when he reached there.

A man identified as a son told the local media that the house was surrounded by several dozen police cars and a helicopter in what he believes is a disproportionate answer “to our supposed violation of movement.”

He said the police “supposedly see us to draw a car in Formula One, which they claim to have exceeded the highway a few minutes earlier – of course we know absolutely nothing about it.”

Police first managed to talk to the phantom The 2019 F1 driver, when images and video of the highway car first began to appear online.

They followed the vehicle and questioned its owner, who had ever denied to drive it on the highway. It is unclear if this is the same person that the police have already been arrested.

As the driver wore a helmet in videos and photos, they could not be identified and the police could not take the question anymore.

The vehicle is often described as “Ferrari Formula 1”.

According to the website, however, Auto.cz is actually a Dallara GP2/08 – a racing car developed by an Italian manufacturer Dallara for use in the GP2 series, the Formula 1 Power Series.

Since then, the competition has been rebranded as the Fia Formula 2 championship.

Regardless of its exact origin, the owner is now facing a fine for driving a vehicle on the highway without headlights, indicators or plates with numbers.
