The man crashes a driving car in the Spanish footsteps of Rome

An 81-year-old man drove his car to the remarkable Spanish steps in Rome before it crashed down the road.

One of the most recognizable monuments of Italy, the Spanish steps have never been intended for vehicles to travel down.

The driver tested negatively about alcohol and told the employees that he was on his way to work.

The emergency services had to use a crane to remove the car from the landmark.
