Jeffrey Epstein Maxwell’s longtime associate meets with officials from the Ministry of Justice, as pressure is increasing on Trump’s administration to launch a network trafficking network of the Financier Financial Traffic.
The Deputy General Prosecutor Todd Blanche said he had planned to talk to Maxwell about any information she had for other people that Epstein might have helped with sexual abuse of girls.
The meeting is expected to be held Thursday in Talahasi, Florida, where she is serving a 20-year sentence for sexual traffic, CBS News reported.
The lawyer told her to BBC that Maxwell is looking forward to her meeting, which can help determine if she will testify to the congress.
Recent developments are coming as interest has returned to 63-year-old Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted sex trafficking at Epstein’s Prison abuse of young girls.
The calls have grown from the public – including the loyal supporters of President Donald Trump – the legislators of the Ministry of Justice to launch the files related to the Epstein case.
“If Ghislaine Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and DOJ will hear what to say,” Blanche wrote in a post this week.
On Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal announced that Prosecutor General Pam Bondi informed Trump during a briefing in May that his name had appeared in DOJ documents related to the Epstein case.
The White House has repelled the rejection of the story as “fake news”.
Being stated in the documents is not evidence of criminal activity, nor has Trump ever accused of misconduct regarding Epstein’s case.
While a campaign for the Presidency last year, Trump has promised to launch such files for a well -connected sexual criminal.
But his supporters have since been disappointed with the processing of the administration on the subject, including his inability to deliver Epstein’s “List of Customers”. In a note earlier this month, the Ministry of Justice and the FBI said there was no such list.
Epstein died in a prison cell in New York in 2019 as he was waiting for a lawsuit on sexual charges after a more sentence to attract prostitution by a minor. His death is managed suicide.
In the years thereafter, the theories of conspiracy about the nature of his crimes and his death have spread.
On Wednesday, a subcommittee of the House of US Representatives voted to summon the Ministry of Justice for the files, which must be signed by the chairman of the Commission.
Republicans in the Chamber’s Supervision Committee also called on Maxwell to testify to testify to the group remotely from prison on August 11.
House spokesman Mike Johnson warned that Maxwell – whom years of years has been helping Epstein groom and sexually abuse of girls – cannot be believed to give accurate testimony.
Her lawyer David Oscar Marcus told the BBC that worries were “unfounded” and that if she decided to testify, instead of relying on her constitutional right to remain silent, “she will testify true, as she always said she will.”
Last week, the Ministry of Justice asked the Federal Judge to release the readings of the large jury of Florida investigation in 2006 in Epstein, but a federal judge in the state on Wednesday declined to make the documents public.
