The moment of elephants huddled to protect the calves during the earthquake

A video shared by the Alliance for Wildlife in San Diego shows the moment a group of elephants defends its young during an earthquake of magnitude 5.2. Behavior is known as a “warning circle”, a formation designed to protect calves from threats. The earthquake struck Julian, California and was felt in San Diego County on April 14th.
