A massive dust storm went through parts of the US state of Arizona.

The thick wall of the dark dust in the County Pinal was worn by thunderstorms – a phenomenon known as a Haul, according to the National Meteorological Service.

The term haboob comes from Arabic and refers to “strong wind” or “breadcrumbs”.

In the United States, they are most common in the southwest.
