The Palestinian weapon kills Israeli soldiers when the UN warns of W Bank’s operation

The Israeli military says two soldiers were killed in an attack on the occupied west coast, as its forces continue a major operation against Palestinian armed groups in the northern part of the territory.

Another eight soldiers were injured when a Palestinian arms opened fire at a checkpoint in the village of Tayasir, 2 km (1.2 miles) north of Tubas, a military statement said. The attacker is shot dead, he said.
