The right leader wins re -election in Ecuador

Right president of the sitting centers, Daniel Noboa, won the leaking round of Ecuador’s presidential election, which means he will now be a full four -year term.

Noboa, who described his victory as “historical”, has only been in power since November 2023 after winning a click election.

So far, he has identified his presidency through severe military repression against violent criminal gangs in the country, which has become the most common in the region.

His left -wing contender Louisa Gonzalez said he did not accept the result and demanded fraud without providing evidence.

According to data from Ecuador’s National Election Board, this is a decisive profit for Noboa – with about 56% of the vote – after the polls before the election suggest that it is neck and neck.

“A victory of more than ten points and over 1 million votes, leaving no doubt who the winner is,” he said after the result was announced.

“This is achieved through the persistence, struggle and hard work of every member of this team,” he added.

He also signals a desire to strengthen relations with the United States and President Donald Trump. In February, he announced 27% of the rates for Mexican import and also canceled his presidential decree, which gave amnesty to the undecided Venezuelan migrants in the country.

His campaign was remarkable with his focus on young people – he is 37 – with a strong focus on creating jobs and smooth videos on social media. He also promised to invest in infrastructure in the country and deal with corruption.

After his defeat, Gonzalez accused the electoral authorities of suppressing democracy and demanded a counting. She will have to provide evidence of her claims to happen.
