The internal structure of the earth’s ice is a cosmic oddness. Its molecules are arranged in geometric structures, usually hexagon that repeats each other. Due to the temperature and stress of our planet, the ice forms the earth in this way: the water here gradually becomes frozen and it allows its molecules to decorate itself in crystals.
However, the ice that is formed within the place is different because of the condition – water exists in a vacuum and subject to extreme temperature. Space ice, as a result, is believed to be formless, there is a lack of such a distinct organizational structure on earth.
It presents a challenge for scientists by trying to understand the structure and life of the planet. In space, the mobility of the formless ice in space has the effect of not fully understanding. For example, the proportion of other solar system water in the solar system makes it difficult to guess how space water is frozen.
Researchers are studying space ice to get a better idea of how frozen water behaves away from the earth. The ice samples of the comet, asteroid and other solar system will be helpful, but scientists are trying to understand space ice with computer models and ice simulations on the earth until they are caught. The more they study it, the more surprise.
A recent report published in the journal Physical review bPosted that the universe has a variety of innocent ice in the universe. The paper is probably made of structural pieces like the earth – made of crystallized regions, but about 3 nanometers wide – divided by chaos.
