ReutersThe head of the global nuclear guard says that there was no more damage to the Iranian factory to enrich Nathan Uranus since Israel struck the nuclear sites in the country on Friday.
Rafael Grossi told the Council of the Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that the above -ground facility for enrichment in Nathan was destroyed, but that there were no signs of physical attack in the underground facility there.
Four buildings were also damaged at the site of Isfahan, he said, including a Uranus conversion plant and at the underground Fordo enrichment plant.
Israel said he had attacked the sites and killed nine nuclear scientists to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
He claims that Iran in recent months has “taken steps to arms” its reserve of enriched uranium, which can be used to prepare fuel for power plants, but also for nuclear bombs.
On Sunday, Iran reiterated that his nuclear program was peaceful and called on the 35-national Council of the IAEA to condemn the Israeli strikes significantly.
Grossi informed the Council on Monday that the IAEE was very closely monitoring the situation in Iran, established the status of nuclear facilities of the country and evaluates radiation levels through communication with local authorities.
He said the attack on Friday against Nathan destroyed the aboveground part of the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP), where the centrifuge stunts produce uranium enrich up to 60% clean-up to 90% needed for Uranus Uranus Uranus
The Nathan electrical infrastructure, which included an electric substation, a power supply building and emergency generators, were also destroyed.
“There was no indication of a physical attack on the underground cascade hall containing part of the PFEP and the main fuel enrichment installation. However, the loss of power in the cascade hall may have damaged the centrifuges there,” Gossi added.
He also said that there was radiological and chemical contamination on the site, but that the level of radioactivity outside remained unchanged at normal levels.
The Israeli military said on Friday that the centrifuge underground hall had also been damaged as part of the attack on Nathan, but it had no evidence.

The IAEA chief said four buildings were damaged by a separate attack on Friday at the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center – the central chemical laboratory, Uranus conversion, a fuel factory to Tehran and the Uranus Hexafluoride conversion facility to Uranus Metal.
As with Nathan, the levels of radiation outside the site remain unchanged, he added.
The Israeli military said on Friday that Isfahan’s shot “dismissed a metal uranium production facility, infrastructure for the restoration of enriched uranium, laboratories and additional infrastructure”.

On Saturday, Iran’s ISNA semi -official agency quoted a spokesman for Iran’s nuclear power organization (Aeoi), saying that there was “limited damage to some areas at the Fordo enrichment site” after Israeli attack.
However, the Israeli military did not confirm that they had committed any strikes there.
Grossi said that no damage had been observed in Ford or in the heavy water reactor of Hondab, which was being built.
He urged all countries to exercise maximum restraint, warning that military escalation threatens life and increases the likelihood of radiological release with serious consequences for people and the environment.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araragchi told foreign diplomats in Tehran on Saturday that Israel’s attacks against his country’s nuclear facilities were “a gross violation of international law” and that he hoped the Council of IAEA would give a strong conviction.
He also said that Iran’s rocket is striving for Israel on Friday, is a “response to aggression.”
The Israeli military spokesman, Brig Effie Defrin, said on Monday that his large -scale air campaign “would continue to operate the purpose of the operation, to neutralize the existential threat from Iran, from his nuclear project to the rocket massif of the regime.”
The Iranian Health Ministry says Israeli strikes have killed over 220 people from Friday. Twenty -four Israelis were killed by Iranian missiles, according to Israeli authorities.
Last Thursday, the Board of the Maa officially Declares Iran in violation of its non -proliferation obligations For the first time in 20 years. The resolution says that Iran’s “many failures” provide the agency with full answers for its undeclared nuclear materials and nuclear activities are a non -compliance.
According to the 2015 nuclear transaction with the world forces, Iran was not allowed to enrich uranium over 3.67% cleanliness – the level needed for commercial nuclear power plants – and was not allowed to enrich Fordo for 15 years.
However, US President Donald Trump gave up the agreement during his first term in 2018, saying he did too little to stop a bomb and restore US sanctions.
Iran revenge, increasingly violating restrictions – especially those related to enrichment. He resumed the enrichment in Ford in 2021 and accumulated enough 60%uranium to make a potentially nine nuclear bombs, according to the IAAE.
