US President Donald Trump said he was not “satisfied” with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, after the biggest air attack in Moscow so far on Ukraine.

In a rare image, Trump said, “What the hell did it happen to him? He kills many people.” Later, he called Putin “absolutely crazy.”

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has earned earlier that Washington’s “silence” because of the latest Russian attacks encouraged Putin, calling “strong pressure” – including more rigorous sanctions – Moscow.

At least 12 people were killed and dozens of wounded in Ukraine overnight Sunday after Russia launched 367 drones and rockets – The largest number in one night since Putin began a full-scale invasion in 2022.

Air Sirens warns of incoming drones and rockets again sounded in many regions of Ukraine early on Monday.

At least three people, including a child, have been injured in the northeastern city of Harciv, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

Speaking to reporters in New Jersey late on Sunday, Trump told Putin: “I have known him for a long time, he has always been confronted with him, but he sends rockets to cities and kills people and I don’t like it at all.”

Asked if he was considering increasing the US sanctions against Russia, Trump replied, “Absolutely.” The US President has repeatedly threatened to do so before – but it is yet to apply some restrictions on Moscow.

Shortly thereafter, Trump wrote in a publication on Social Truth that Putin “has received absolutely crazy.”

“I have always said that he wants all of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe it turns out to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the collapse of Russia!”

But the US president also had strong words for Zelenski, saying that “he does not do his country without services, talking the way he does it.”

“Everything from his mouth creates problems, I don’t like it and you stop better,” Trump writes to Zelenski.

Despite the European allies of KYIV, preparing more sanctions for Russia, the United States said they would either continue to try to overcome these peaceful negotiations or “move away” if progress does not follow.

Last week, Trump and Putin had a two -hour phone call to discuss US -protected agreement to end fire to stop the fighting.

The US President said he believes the call has gone “very well”, adding that Russia and Ukraine “will immediately start” negotiations to end fire and “end to war”.

Ukraine publicly agreed with a 30-day termination of the fire.

Putin only said that Russia would work with Ukraine to create a “memorandum” of “possible future peace” – a move described by Kiev and its European allies as a delay in tactics.

The first direct Ukrainian-Russian negotiations of 2022 are held on May 16 in Istanbul, Turkey.

In addition to the main swap for a prisoner last week, there was little or no progress in a break in the fight.

Currently, Russia controls about 20% of Ukrainian territory. This includes Crimea – the southern Peninsula of Ukraine, annexed by Moscow in 2014.
