US President Donald Trump has appointed right-wing commentator Dan Bongino as Deputy Director of the FBI.
Trump publishes on social media that Bongino is a “man with incredible love and passion for our country” and will serve under the newly confirmed FBI Kash Patel.
The 50 -year -old Bongino is a former NYPD and a secret service and has worked as part of the details of the protection of two presidents – George W Bush and Barack Obama.
He hosts a podcast of the same name, whose Facebook publications often attract more attention than Fox News and CNN combined.
“Thank you to the President, Prosecutor General Bondi and Director Patel,” Bongino wrote at the X in publication after Trump’s announcement.
Trump said in his social media message on Sunday that Bongino was “ready and ready to give up” podcast “to serve.
“Honesty, justice, law and order will be returned to America and quickly,” Trump added.
He said Bongino would do an “incredible job” at the FBI.
Bongino, who runs for the congress three times, hosted the president in his daily podcast, The Dan Bongino Show, before the election last year.
The episodes of his program from the last week include titles, such as “Trump continues to deliver, and Libians boil” and “The only people who love crime are criminals !!!”
Talking about his career as a fruitful conservative political commentator, Bongino said in 2018: “My life is related to owning lips now.”
With a fighting person, he can often be found to shoot back to Trump’s abusers of X, including a long -standing spitting with the horror author Stephen King.
The new FBI boss Patel of Bongino has been confirmed by the Senate of the Senate for the leading law enforcement agency, which has long been attacked.
The Democrats have warned that they will seek retribution against Trump’s enemies, although the former prosecutor has denied any plans to pursue political vendes and promised to “restore” the desk.
