President Donald Trump complied with Liberian President Joseph Boakai on his English -language, during a meeting with several African leaders in the White House.
Trump told Boakai that he was talking “so good English”, asking where he went to school.
The visitor politely laughed, but did not mention that English is the official language of Liberia.
The oldest republic in Africa, Liberia, was founded in 1822 by liberated American slaves to move free black people to Africa.
